Doordarshan, the national broadcaster, has announced that devotees can now experience the divine morning Aarti offered to the Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya Ram Temple live every day. This initiative aims to connect millions of Lord Ram devotees across the globe to the sacred rituals performed at the newly inaugurated temple.
The announcement was made via a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. DD National will broadcast the morning aarti live from 6:30 AM daily, allowing devotees to partake in the spiritual experience from the comfort of their homes.
The decision to telecast the morning aarti live stems from the overwhelming response to the temple's inauguration and the understanding that not everyone can visit the temple in person. The live broadcast will also be available on DD's YouTube channel, ensuring accessibility for a wider audience.
Currently, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust lacks the infrastructure for a live broadcast. To bridge this gap, Doordarshan will deploy a small crew of two to three members to the temple premises to capture the daily rituals.
The live telecast, which has been approved by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, will initially focus on the "Mangala aarti" for a period of few months. The Trust will then assess the situation and determine the next steps.
