My name is Tanya Stephenson Walker and I am the great granddaughter of Rebecca Simmerman Stephenson. Remotely I am related to this Rogers family. My ggrandmother, Rebecca's first child by her first marriage was Susan C. Jarrett Stephenson and Susan married Richard B. Rogers, son of Reuben and grandson of Jesse Rogers. I am doing research on my family and extended family, I hope we might be able to share information. I would love to hear from you.

I received a copy of the article from the Springfield paper from another cousin -- Rebecca's sister's descendants.
