Sources and Additional Information:
Reuben Brawley Rogers born 11 April 1821 in Claiborne County, Tennessee died 7 November 1876 in Webster Co, MO. So many of this line were named for a close relative, neighbor, or friend. I suspect that this Reuben B. Rogers was named after his uncle, the first son of John (the Powder Maker) and his second wife, Mary (Polly) Brawley (1774 – 1814), who was born ca 1795. As we know, there are many Reuben Brawley Rogers or Reuben B. Rogers.
I am not sure when he came to Missouri. Two of his brothers came to Greene Co, MO fairly early, ca 1834. Jesse brought the rest of the family in 1845. Reuben was probably too young to leave home in 1834, but his second child was born in MO in 1844 so he must have arrived there prior to his father. Reuben later settled in Panther Valley in what is now Webster Co, MO. He was a judge and a Methodist minister. He is mentioned in Missouri Pioneers" by Hodges & Woodruff, vol.30:79. He had nine children and three wives.
See land registration documents:
Reuben B. Rogers 1857 for 40 acres
Reuben B. Rogers 1860 75 & 81/100 acres
Note that Reuben is also mentioned briefly in the The Susan Martin (Rogers) Story, but it indicates that he also married into the Watts family…..twice! That is incorrect or at least partially incorrect. He did marry his wife’s sister. After the death of his first wife, Hannah Evens, in 1847, he married Elizabeth Bradley in 1849. When she died in 1860, he married her younger sister in about 1861.

What do you have on the Bradleys? Julia Ann Bradley was my husband's Great grandmother. She married John Redfearn and they had several children, one of which was William Calvin Redfearn who came to Texas when he was very young, about thirteen. The rest of the family stayed in Missouri including his brother, Tom Henery and some sisters, Martha, Lina, Mae and others.
I would love to know more about Julia Ann's family. I have pictures of her.

Elizabeth moved to Monroe County, Tennessee when young.
The Bradleys in Greene Co. are ours but don't know too much. Edith, 65 and a widow first appears, I believe in 1850 along with 5 others in the household, children I suppose. In 1860, Edy, widow and 73 and four people including a Juli Ann, 10 and a Calvin 32. I have learned lately that Julia Ann was born out of wedlock, the mother dying at her birth and she was raised by her grandmother and father. Edith, the grandmother and Calvin, the father is who Martha, daughter of Julia Ann said they were.
In the 1870 census Julian Bradley was living with Eli & matilda J. Ruffin. Perhaps, I am thinking, that this is her other grandparents.
1880 Census, John T Redfearn, 24 and Julial A., wife 27 and four children are listed. The William, 9 years old is my husbands grandfather who came to Texas at 13 years of age.
John Thomas and Julia Ann were married Oct 31, 1870 in Christian Co. Julia Ann was buried at Martin/Davis Cemetery born Nov 11, 1850 and died Aug 9, 1931. Martin/Davis is located on 160 Highway in Ponce-De-Leon, Missouri.
