Since Reuben B. Rogers is such a popular name in the family, I'll try to add some info. on one of them. This one is the grandson of Major David, son of John Rogers & wife Sarah Carr.

About 1980, I met Furman Rogers and gathered some of this info. on his ancestry. It is possible that some of his descendants have more info., but I have not had contact with them since his death.

Reuben B. Rogers was born 11 June 1838 and died Feb. 1919 in Jefferson Co., KS. and buried at Nortonville, KS Cemetery. His wife was Amanda M. Connelly. They had 5 children:

1. John W. Rogers b. about 1869-70
2. Arthur C. Rogers b. 1872
3. Emma M. Rogers b. 1874, d. 22 Dec. 1879, bur at Nortonville KS.
4. George Howard Rogers b. 1877, d. 1923 bur. Nortonville, KS.
5. Eddie Rogers b. 29 May 1882, d. 1 Nov. 1900, bur. Nortonville

1. Furman Rogers married 30 Aug. 1922 at Atchison, KS to Gladys K. Nettleton, the dau. of C. P. and Fannie (Carter) Nettleton. Gladys was born 27 Aug. 1897 at Lancaster, KS. and she died 17 Oct 1979.

Furman was a long-time barber in Atchison, KS. He died shortly after 1980.

They had one son:
