Well this is amazing. Cousin Joe Dewey, your Charles Green Rogers died in the same place that my husband, your cousin James Harrison Rogers, retired from - namely the VA Center at Leavenworth, KS, also known as Wadsworth VA Center. Jim retired in 1972 (after an illness). He is still alive. We live in Lansing, KS. Hope to hear from all of you again. I think the list is a fine idea.

Jerry, Its been a while since I have did anything genealogical. Thought you might appreciate this info. Charlie Green Rogers served during the last days of the Spanish American War but never left the states. I am attaching a picture of him in Uniform. He was a Private in Company M of the 21st Regiment of Kansas Volunteers. is discharge was 10 Dec 1898. His enrollment was 7 May 1898 so his service was extremely limited. He was mustered out under GO130 AGO1898. Which I think was the end of the war.
