Jerry,
David Jacob Wesley Stoner married Mary Winnia Rogers Children:
Steven Simon Stoner b. 1880 and Laura Barbara Stoner b.1877.
Steven's children Clyde Williard Stoner and Thomas Hugh married sisters: My grandmother Dorothea Mae Jackson and Bonnie Fern Jackson, daughters of James Thomas Jackson and Martha Lavenia Crist. James's father was Daniel married to Judy McKeehan, his father was Michael Jackson -his father was William Jackson and Ann Thelma Wilson. William and Themy had land in Knox Co Tn Michael and Daniel were born there (in Anderson County, Tn).
Anyway, one of Michael's brothers went to Greene Co Mo and William and Them must have gone there also. They are buried in the Britain Cemetery at Wade Chapel in Mo. We are finding alot of connections. Her e-mail address is britbar@juno.com (Bar N Brit). I have tried several emails that were returned, sometimes they go through other times not. One name that keeps popping up is Hugh Lawson. There is a Hugh Lawson Jackson, Hugh Lawson White, Hugh Lawson Wilson and didn't I see a Hugh Lawson Rogers. Who was Hugh Lawson?

Jerry.
In your email you mentioned "contemplating our next research step(s)". Please count me in contributing to this research.
Within the past two weeks I was able to acquire Rogers/Stoner heirlooms from my grandmother's estate . This makes any research we do even more interesting. I acquired a chair that belonged to Mary Winnia Rogers and David Jacob Wesley Stoner. When they moved from the farm into town they had a sale. At that time my Grandmother purchased this chair for $2.50. The chair is what they called a woman's sewing chair. It has been in our family for the past 5 generations.
I also was able to get 3 pieces of Mary's beautiful hand embroidery work. These include two tablecloths and a white linen bedspread with blue embroidery work as well as crochet work. I am just thrilled with these heirloom's. She was a beautiful seamstress from what I have been told. About four years ago I was able to find a photo of Mary. I feel my collection is now well rounded.
Let me know when you decide to go further with the research.
