Hi. I think I have a connection is my papers to the William and Elizabeth Rayl. (that is all I have on them.) but I have their children: 10 of them. Of which, the twin boys, Willaim and Matthew 1 Dec. 1771 may be a part you are looking for. I have that Willaim died in Guilford Co NC 25 Feb 1842. Wife was Elizabeth Thorpe. The birth place for the twins is blank, but the two oldest children were born in Rowan Co. NC and the five children younger than the twins were born in New Garden, Guilford Co, NC. Notes next to some of the children's' names say they moved to Honey creek and White Lick Ind. in 1814, 1820 and 1824. Since two William Rayle married two Elizabeths, things may be confusing. Also there are many named George Rayl, that does not help either. Does anything here help you there? Do you have any further info on the William and Elizabeth (around early 1700- 1720) ? I have sent a couple e-mails to PA connections who are looking for the same names, but they didn't write the dates, so I don't know if I have found anything helpful, yet.
