We are cousins for sure. My family does not come from George & Jeanne Rayle of Guilford, N.C, but from his brother Samuel who lived with him during the Revolution. After the Rev., Samuel moved to East TN. If you are looking for contact with a George descendant, contact Norma Rock at nmraylrock@webcombo.net. Wait a while, tho, for her husband is seriously ill at the moment. Jean

George's father is William Rayle, mother Elizabeth. They quite a few children and George and Samuel were their sons. George settled in Guilford Co., NC prior to the Revolution. Samuel joined him when he was 20 yrs old. After Rev. settled in Grainger Co., TN. Jean
