Sources and Additional Information:

Ira professed his faith at the age of 11. In 1948, he moved his church membership to the Reynolds Baptist Church where he was later ordained and served as a deacon.

Ira's work of choice was dairying, raising cattle, and carpentry. In 1976 Ira and Lena sold the farm and moved to Buffalo where he grew a beautiful garden that few could surpass.
