Mary "Aunt Polly" Case married David C. Coble before 1880 in Polk Co, Missouri. In the 1870 Polk Co Census her future husband then 16 was living with the Barnett family and Polly was listed as living close by with her parents at the age of 25. She was known in the Barnett, Nicodemus, and Case family as Aunt Polly Coble. She reportedly smoked a corn cob pipe. You can see her in the photo of the family dinner on William M. C. Barnett page.

Aunt Polly and Mary Jane Case's father, John Case, were siblings.

Notes for DAVID C. COBLE:

David was listed in the 1870 Census living with Rial Barnett and family, aged 16. Ten years later he is listed as married to Mary (Aunt Polly) Case and is listed as being 28 years old.
